❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How long does tire fitting take?
Most tire fitting services take 20–40 minutes. If tire repair or wheel straightening is required, the work may take up to 1 hour.
When do I need to switch to winter tires in Lithuania?
According to Lithuanian law, vehicles must be fitted with winter tires no later than November 10. From that date until March 31, driving on summer tires is prohibited.
Approved all-season tires with the appropriate marking (such as M+S) may also be used instead of traditional winter tires.
For maximum safety, it is recommended to change your tires before the temperature consistently drops below +7°C, which usually happens in late October. Timely tire replacement improves road grip and reduces the risk of accidents.

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in fines and could also affect insurance coverage in the event of an accident.
How do I know if my wheels are out of balance?
The most common symptom is vibration in the steering wheel or vehicle body, especially at speeds between 80 and 120 km/h.
Can a punctured tire be repaired?
Yes, but not every type of damage can be repaired safely.
The following can usually be repaired:
- ✔ punctures in the tread area;
- ✔ small holes (typically up to 5–6 mm);
- ✔ damage caused by nails or screws.
The following should not be repaired:
- ✖ sidewall cuts;
- ✖ large tears;
- ✖ damaged tire cords;
- ✖ heavily worn tires.
In these cases, replacing the tire is the safest solution.
Should the tire valve be replaced when changing tires?
Yes. It is recommended to replace the tire valve every 1–2 seasons, as it wears out over time and may start leaking air.
Why do tires wear unevenly?
Uneven tire wear can be caused by several factors:
- incorrect tire pressure;
- suspension problems;
- improper wheel alignment;
- unbalanced wheels.
If your tires are wearing unevenly, we recommend having your suspension and wheel alignment inspected. This helps extend tire life, improves vehicle handling and prevents premature tire wear.
